Richmonde Hotel Ortigas is committed to embodying sustainable practices towards the environment through eco-friendly initiatives, products, and services.

This Sustainability Policy states the commitment of Richmonde Hotel Ortigas towards the laws, regulations and other policies concerning environmental issues. This policy is also to ensure that all activities concerning environmental sustainability do not have harmful effects on the biophysical environment and natural resources, as well as to make sure that changes in the environment do not have harmful effects on humans.

Our key sustainability objectives are to:

  • Comply with all necessary environmental legislation, rules and regulations.
  • Protect the environment by preventing pollution in water, land, and air.
  • Partner with the local community on environmental activities to minimize waste.
  • Acquire proper waste management practices within.
  • Patronize local products and support local producers.
  • Maximize the use of recyclables and reusable materials and adopt renewable energy resources to promote sustainability.
  • Conserve natural resources.
  • Produce a sustainable garden.
  • Preserve Filipino culture and embody its symbolism.
  • Inform employees and others regarding current environmental concerns or issues.
  • Implement necessary policies and procedures when environmental hazards are identified.
